The international WSA jury was clear on one statement - The Arab Region proofs to be a real content valley! - and selected after intense discussions the 8 best practice examples of the Arab region for 2019!
THESE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE WSA DIGITAL ARAB INNOVATION FORUM 2019!
The Jury was in agreement, those agricultural projects are not only innovative, they also provide a clear contribution to tackling the UN SDG's. Just like Deaf Pedia from Qatar, a solution that allows deaf people to translate arab dialect audio and videoinput in real life into sign language using an avatar.
Also from Qatar , QChain powers cybersecurity with blockchain power. One thing the Jury was adament about, the importance of regional Arab content to be preserved and accsessible, just like the Syrian Manarti, an animated storytelling tool for kids using AR. Daraty, also from Syria, is is an interactive toolkit that teaches children the basics of electronics and improves their problem-solving skills.
But the Arab Region proofs also a strong focus on business solutions, such as Jobi.ma, a job recruitment and matching platform from Morocco. Citizen Up, also from Morocco, offers solutions for companies that have no programs for CSR with sustainable volunteering solutions.
