Mr. Andriamampianina is the Founding Chair of NIC-MG, the ccTLD manager of .mg, Chair of the Malagasy National Research and Education Network, ICT Advisor at the Malagasy ministry of higher education and scientific research Vice chair of AFRINIC Board. Furthermore he is board member of LIRIMA/INRIA African Research Laboratory Network and Member of AFNIC International College.

Lala is considered  a Pioneer of the Internet in Madagascar and is one of the African researchers in computer science who partook in the Ouagadougou Declaration in October, 1994 to promote the Internet in Africa.

Moreover, he is founding chair, and member of the board of national and international institutions in the domain of ICT, Telecommunication and Higher Education and served as the Vice Chair of the Board of the Malagasy E-Governance National Realization Agency.

Mr. Andriamampianina has been the Executive Director of the Foundation for Higher Education Development and was the executive manager of the FADES, a project of the Malagasy government, which was financed by the World Bank. He also has served as the Chairman of the Polytechnic School of the University of Antananarivo.
