Sébastien Bourdu is a young sense maker. He is a freelance web developer and UX designer (http://www.sebastienbourdu.com) doing his best to work on meaningful projects and to have a positive social impact. Prior to that, he worked two years in the R&D center of Orange.

Sébastien, together with his friends, won a World Summit Youth Award in 2011 for the iko project in the category “Education for all”.

Sébastien loves the convergence of like-minded people. He is an active member of MakeSense, an open project bringing people together to solve the challenges of social entrepreneurs. He is also a happy member of Sandbox-- a global community of young sense makers. Sebastien has also hosted about two hundred people through CouchSurfing, because he likes meeting and connecting with travelers from all over the world.

He thinks that his generation could eradicate poverty and design a system that could make us live in a world of abundance.
