Henry Dobson is the Founding Director of the Institute of Technological Ethics, a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on how modern technology is impacting our personal lives and changing the world in both good and bad ways. The Institute encourages technologists and business leaders to think about the broader social impacts and unintended consequences that can arise when building new technology, and promotes the importance of building ethical technology that enhances our collective humanity. Henry has a Masters degree in philosophy and is an award-winning technology entrepreneur who believes in the power of technology for solving our most challenging global problems. Henry has spent many years living in London and has worked with startup technology companies in the UK, Europe and Asia. He is now helping entrepreneurs and corporate organisations with understanding the importance of building ethics into both their business and technology products.
