With a background in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of Porto and Post-Graduation in Economics and Social Innovation from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and ISPA (Institute for Applied Psychology), has been guiding her professional activity for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

People and impact driven, with 18 years of financial and business development experience, Katiuska has been working directly with start-ups, developing business strategies and management with entrepreneurs, companies and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Assistant Professor, I'm passionate about teaching and learning with my students.

Currently, at the National Innovation Agency, she is responsible for the Programme “Born from Knowledge” which main objective is to promote, disseminate and award the production of knowledge and innovation. BfK intends to distinguish projects that are “born” of scientific knowledge, as well as companies that stand out in terms of Research & Development (R&D) activities, with impact on society.
