Margarida Ferreirinha is Head of Communications and Sustainability at REN (Portuguese National Transmission System Operator for both Electricity and Natural Gas Networks) since 2011.
 
With an extensive experience in Commercial and Communications areas, Margarida has worked in diverse sectors, such as culture (Belém Cultural Centre and EXPO’98), tourism (Portuguese National Tourist Office in New York), telco (Portugal Telecom Group), banking (Barclays Bank) and, more recently, the energy sector, where she has been responsible for internal and external communications, reputation and brand management, media relations, corporate social responsibility, stakeholder management and sustainability strategy.
