What's Up Youth is a non-profit youth-led initiative created in 2008. The team launched an interactive portal whose main purpose is to help active youth from all over the world find information and exchange about valuable educational opportunities (workshops, conferences, trainings, scholarships), connect with international and regional organizations and funders, and take part in youth leadership or activism. The main services are: Firstly, updating opportunities and open calls for participation, including descriptions, deadlines and downloadable forms of each event. Furthermore, WupY provides a detailed event agenda and a monthly e-newsletter. The second service is a database of involved youth groups (NGOs, Clubs and Movements) to help youth in building up a network in order to learn from the best practices of other youth around the world. Thirdly, in order to support and help the youth organizations and groups by sponsoring their activities and programs, WupY provides a growing list of funders interested in community & youth empowerment. Finally the fourth service offers a variety of resources and information media (downloadable tool-kits, manuals & publications).
